More knitted mittens


I have found out how to make eyelet holes today...whoopee ! I can now add cords to my mittens to stop them falling off

Tea cosy...last knitted but first finished !


I have so many unfinished knitting projects....teddies, flowers, animals etc.  This tea cosy was so quick to knit I actually managed to finish it. It is very plain but now I know the size is ok I can play with the design

Knitted egg cosy


I have knitted lots of egg cosies in different colours and patterns. I only know one person who eats boiled eggs....do you eat them ?  I am giving this one to an 82 year old gentleman.  He loves gardening so I think he will appreciate the flower on top

Two Tilda twin cats from SEW PRETTY HOMESTYLE book


I made these twin cats last year.  I haven't been able to part with them so I must make some more when my eyesight is better.  Threading the needle on my sewing machine is very difficult at the moment. The pattern for them is a book called "Sew Pretty Homestyle" by Tone Finnanger

Born today and have homes already so I need to knit more

Wooden candlestick for Bible School


My husband made this enormous candlestick which holds 15 candles.  I can't think why he took a photo of me varnishing it !   Looking at our living room then it must have been in the 1990's but it doesn't feel like that long ago
